Robert Huth Shows the Hunger and Will Make Champions

All the great players of football have shown their own ways to get success. All their roads to success are more or less similar as they emphasize hard work and concentration. The way to success is almost the same in the case of Robert Huth too as he says that hunger and will are the only weapons that can make you a champion footballer. The German center back has opened up about his career and has advised the younger players to generate a hunger for success in them to get success. He has won the English premier league thrice in his career and thus no one can ignore his advice.

The former skipper of Chelsea who played under Jose Mourinho helped his team to win Premier League titles back to back in 2004-05 and 2005-06 seasons. He was also a part of the team of Leicester City which won the English Premier League in the 2015-16 sessions. According to him, a player shouldn’t only play for money but for his hunger and will to win a trophy. The combination of these two will make a player an all-time great. The German skipper also added that during injury, when a player can’t get to the field, has to spend his time with the obsessions. Many of the players have lost their careers due to not having the correct path to guide their obsession. But if you can guide your will and hunger properly, then you will be among the greatest players.

James Maddison content with Leicester City stay

Leicester City playmaker James Maddison has said that he is delighted to have made the decision to join the Foxes and he has no plans of pursuing a fresh challenge elsewhere. The England international has been regularly linked with a move to Manchester United but any deal appears unlikely to happen this summer due to the player’s stance and the financial impact from the coronavirus pandemic.

Speaking to BT Sport, Maddison assured that he is fully committed to the Foxes and is looking forward to playing Champions League football with the Foxes for the first time in his career, he told: “Of course I am. It was one of the best decisions I’ve made, coming here. I love it. We’re just doing individual stuff at home. [Leicester manager] Brendan Rodgers sorted out his staff to send us stuff to do at home so we’re still keeping fit, we’re not sitting at home on the beers and the cakes, don’t worry about that! This situation is not ideal because we were doing so well and we were in the Champions League spaces. We just want to finish and try to secure one of those spaces because Champions League football is something I’ve always wanted to [play].”

Premier League Footballers to Accept Wage Deferrals

Possibilities are there that all the footballers of Premier League are going to accept their wage deferrals because the clubs are looking forward to warding off financial problems caused by the corona virus pandemic. As all football has been suspended in England till 30th April, the clubs are concerned about their income that is drying up. They are set to have talks with the association of Professional Footballers about payment. Discussions will take place about the current issue only when all the 20 top-flight Premier League clubs hold their video conference on 3rd April. While it is expected that the players will hesitate to take wage cuts permanently, chances are also there that they will agree to have their payments deferred.

Clubs are likely to adopt collective measures as a substitute for taking action independently. There is a craving to make major savings while the games are suspended. In this situation, one source said that all the clubs are worried about running into problems regarding cash flow. They are missing out on receipts from gates and other revenue that they get from their matches. It can also be expected that the clubs are going to make less money significantly if the games restart privately.
